\n Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week — SBL OR will designate one late person per shift to stay late if a case is running late
\n Public Description: Immediate start available; seeking skilled Operating Room Nurses to join our dynamic team for a defined 13-week assignment.

Job Description:
\nOperating Room Registered Nurses are responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care within the surgical environment. You will perform nursing duties at a competent level and in accordance with the standards of practice specific to the surgical area. Your role will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. You are committed to maintaining an environment of caring and concern, emphasizing patient-focused care and exceptional customer service throughout all aspects of your work.

What You Bring:

• Proven experience in perioperative nursing, with a strong understanding of surgical procedures and protocols.\n
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced operating room setting.\n
• Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff.\n
• Strong patient advocacy skills, with a focus on safety, comfort, and confidentiality.\n
• Flexibility to accommodate shift variability, including designated late stays when cases run over.\n
• Commitment to adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols.\n

Preferred Education & Experience:

\n

\n
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice.\n
• Minimum of 2 years of perioperative or operating room nursing experience preferred.\n
• Prior experience working in a hospital surgical setting, preferably in a similar facility.\n
• Certification in perioperative nursing (CNOR) is a plus but not required.\n

Certifications & Licenses:

\n

\n
• Current and active RN License in the state of practice. \n
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.\n
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification preferred.\n

• Weekly stipend of $360.84, with a taxable weekly pay of approximately $538.43.\n
