The DSD Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately receiving and processing Direct Store Delivery (DSD) shipments from vendors. This role ensures compliance with Meijer’s receiving standards, maintains accurate inventory records, and supports shrink reduction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Receiving:

Use the Meijer DSD Receiving application (Bluebird handheld) to process shipments via Shipment Receiving or Receiver Scan methods.

Verify Bill of Lading (BOL), Purchase Orders (PO), and UCC 128 labels for accuracy.

Generate Proof of Delivery (POD) and carton labels as required.

Documentation & Compliance:

Maintain vendor paperwork, manifest logs, and ensure all vendors sign in/out through the back door.

Follow Meijer safety guidelines in receiving areas

Inventory Accuracy:

Ensure all items received are scanned and linked to correct POs.

Report discrepancies and coordinate with Store Support when needed.

Shrink Control:

Implement proper controls to minimize shrink in DSD areas.

Monitor vendor credits and returns as per company policy.

Safety & Cleanliness:

Keep the 20x20 ft area outside the receiving door clear.

• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.

• This position is applicable to the following departments: Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Grocery.
