Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating closely with medical providers, you will provide personalized and compassionate nursing care, adhering to established nursing models such as 'Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.' You will advocate for patients and their families, embodying the organization's vision and values.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments during admission and at each shift to identify any changes in condition.
• Perform medical procedures and document care accurately in patient records.
• Administer prescribed medications while monitoring patient reactions and taking prompt action when necessary.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and medications, ensuring comprehensive understanding.

Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.
• Must hold a Registered Nurse license.
• Completion of a Registered Nurse program.

No travel is required, and no prior experience is necessary.

Research Medical Center is a 585+ bed institution providing diverse medical services, including maternity, trauma, and orthopedic care across multiple locations in Kansas City. We also address mental health needs at the Research Psychiatric Center, which offers acute care for various age groups.
