Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in electrical systems, with a strong focus on both commercial and industrial settings. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints, using hand tools, and understanding electrical codes to ensure safe and efficient installations and repairs.

Responsibilities: 

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Utilize hand tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) during all installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
• Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or malfunctions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices or less experienced electricians as needed.

Qualifications : 

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety practices.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with using various hand tools and testing equipment such as voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
