Job Description:

• The NPD Practitioner demonstrates, through behavior, alignment with AdventHealth’s mission, vision, and service standards.
• The principal duties and job responsibilities are based on the Standards of the Association of Nursing Professional Development.
• The NPD Practitioner supports learners in interprofessional practice and learning environments to facilitate continuous development and learning for the healthcare team.
• Orientation/Onboarding: Creates, plans, implements, and coordinates orientation for individuals new to the nursing unit/department using the ANPD standards of practice including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation with the NPD Practice model using inputs, throughputs, and outcomes to ensure a systematic approach to onboarding orientation.
• Adjusts implementation strategies as needed based on the learner’s developmental level, learning needs, readiness, ability to learn, language, and cultural preferences.

Bachelor's of Nursing (Required), Master's of NursingBasic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Nursing Professional Development - Board Certified (NPD-BC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range:

$73,179.07 - $129,306.76
