Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Air Gateway Operations Coordinator to manage and support air import and export operations. The ideal candidate will have strong operational knowledge of air freight, excellent communication skills, and proven experience using CargoWise . This role requires close coordination with airlines, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant shipments.

• Coordinate and manage air import and export shipments from origin to final destination
• Prepare, review, and process all required documentation (AWB, HAWB, MAWB, manifests, customs documents)
• Communicate with airlines, overseas agents, customs brokers, and clients
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or operational issues
• Ensure compliance with international air freight regulations and company SOPs
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate shipment data in CargoWise
• Monitor cut-off times, flight schedules, and cargo availability
• Provide excellent customer service and timely status updates
• Support gateway operations and collaborate with internal operations and sales teams

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in air freight operations (import & export)
• Proficient in CargoWise (required)
• Bilingual: English & Spanish (required)
• Portuguese is a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Knowledge of air freight documentation and international trade compliance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Office-based role (gateway/operations environment)
